Dr. Alice Yun was born in Pennsylvania, and raised in NJ. She attended Northwestern University in Chicago for both undergraduate and medical education, receiving her degrees thru the prestigious Honors Program in Medical Education. After completing her Ob/Gyn residency in New York, she practiced obstetrics and gynecology in New York City for 3 years prior to moving to California. In NY she was a faculty physician involved with training residents and teaching medical students from Columbia University. She was also part of a very busy practice that did deliveries at Roosevelt Hospital’s Birthing Center that supported natural deliveries for low risk patients.

Dr. Yun is board certified and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Obstetrically, she cares for many high risk patients (incl IVF patients, twins/triplets, preterm labor, diabetes, etc…), and she supports natural deliveries for her low risk patients—especially since she experienced this herself! Her special interest is in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. She performs the gamut of minimally invasive procedures: Laparoscopic hysterectomy, Laparoscopic cyst removal, hysteroscopy, endometrial ablation, and vaginal rejuvenation.

Dr. Yun’s husband, David, is a practicing Otolaryngologist in the San Gabriel and San Fernando Valley. They have 2 beautiful children Kaitlyn and Kyle. Outside of work she spends her time golfing, skiing, scuba diving, and playing with her children.
